Our CEO, Andy Coleman's Lords Taverners Charity 2026

In April 2026, I completed the London Marathon in support of the incredible work of the Lord’s Taverners. Crossing that finish line was one of the toughest and proudest moments of my life, but the marathon was never the end goal; it was the beginning.

Throughout this summer, I’m continuing to raise funds for the Lord’s Taverners because the work they do changes lives. Every day, they create opportunities for young people facing inequality, especially those living with disabilities and additional needs, through inclusive cricket and sport.

As CEO of Dorset Cricket, I see that impact first-hand.

Here in Dorset, we deliver Lord’s Taverners SEND programmes for young people who are too often excluded from opportunities, friendships, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
Not because they lack talent.
Not because they lack passion.

But because the world around them is not always built to include them.
Yet when the right environment is created, something powerful happens.
Confidence grows.
Friendships form.
Anxiety fades.
Voices become louder.
Smiles become bigger.
Young people begin to believe in themselves.

I’ve seen children arrive nervous, quiet, and withdrawn, only to leave laughing with teammates, celebrating success, leading activities, and feeling proud of who they are.

That is why this fundraising journey continues beyond the marathon.
Because every young person deserves the chance to belong.
Every young person deserves the joy and confidence that sport can bring.
And every young person deserves to be seen, supported, and included.
