My story
I'm running my 4th marathon and it will be London for the 3rd time. This is after suffering a slipped disc that required surgery, a torn tendon in my groin and a hernia that also required surgery. Finally, knee ligament damage which stopped me running for the last 12 months.
I'm a glutton for punishment and will break myself to raise money for a good cause. This is an amazing cause so is worth the body debilitating effort.

Ruptured disc in back - multiple cortisone injections and surgery.
Torn tendon in my groin and hernia in abdomen - surgery.
Knee ligament and cartilage damage - cortisone injections. 6 months rehab.
Torn rotator cuff and tendonitis in shoulder - cortisone injection and rehab.
These are the injuries that I am overcoming to get out of bed in the morning.
