My story
I’m walking 100km of the Camino for two charities in Sheffield: The Choir with No Name and The Archer Project.
For those of you who know me well you are aware that the last 3 years haven't been easy ones. The history of these Caminos is one of pilgrimage and for me to complete it is going to give me a real sense of personal achievement.
As a volunteer for the Choir and a trustee for The Archer Project, I’ve seen firsthand how these two organisations change the lives of people experiencing homelessness and/or trauma. With dedication and the utmost care, they work with people patiently and with aspiration, helping them achieve the very best outcomes.

Hi all. So close to meeting my second target. A special thanks to those of you who have donated recently . If I have a personal contact I do aim to thank you one to one . The date is getting closer. I’m walking regularly but as it’s usually with my slow Labrador I’m not aiming to break any speed record! But I do feel fitter than I’ve ever done . Those of you who knew Bob would also know how amazed he’d be . The photo below shows myself and fellow walker Neil near the end of the round Sheffield walk / we were joking !
I’m so pleased and honoured to have met my target . Thank you wonderful donors.I have now increased it to raise even more for the fabulous 2 charities I’m walking for . I bought some great walking shoes today and waterproof socks ! Added to tomorrows’s jaunt around Sheffield I’m aiming do you all
