Anne walks 100km for her charities

Out today on Burbage edge and Longshaw . Very misty at first . Also still icey with some snow lying around. Even the local highland cattle looked  cold . My finger  tips were really painful and I felt a bit sorry for myself. But what are 3 hours in the beautiful peaks compared to night after night in a wet sleeping bag with little 
In your belly ? That’s what we’re walking for . To support The Archer Project and The Choir With No Name . Both making tangible differences to lives . Giving love , friendship  and guidance to people many cross over the road to avoid . It’s an honour really. Keep reading my updates . In a few weeks I’ll be able to share my journey with you . X

You continue to humble me with your generosity and messages of encouragement. I have increased my target again. I’m aiming to do two decent distances back to back this week.  So 🤞the weather improves x

I’m thrilled to say that not only have I met my target but your amazing support has allowed me to actually double my original figure !  Not one to rest on my laurels I have increased the target yet again. I was at the choir on Monday people were singing their hearts out and planning our next gig got the end of the month . Sadly as I walked to the rehearsal I saw a number of people in soaking wet sleeping bags a clear reminder that the Archer Projject’s work is absolutely vital.

Hi all. So close to meeting my second target. A special thanks to those of you who have donated recently . If I have a personal contact  I do aim to thank you one to one . The date is getting closer. I’m walking regularly but as it’s usually with my slow Labrador I’m not aiming to break any speed record! But I do feel fitter than I’ve ever done . Those of you who knew Bob would also know how amazed he’d be . The photo below shows myself and fellow walker Neil near the end of the round Sheffield walk / we were joking !
