Arks Walking Warriors

It has taken a year and a half of commitment, long weekend walks, a number of ultra treks and a lot of route planning to prepare for this belter of a fundraiser, so if ever there was an opportunity to get behind them  - the time is now!🙏

Arks Walking Warriors; Toby, Tim B, Lou, Phil, Morti and Ash will face their longest endurance challenge to date by walking 120km in 24hrs. That is right peeps - the team are walking from Ark Cody Park to Ark Spring Park in aid of charity Hoplite. No relay in sight! - every member of the team will be walking over two back to back ultra treks in the hope you will reward their efforts with a donation, no matter how small.

Hoplite is a charity which support serving personnel, veterans, and their families, particularly within 18 Signal Regiment "the silent force", an elite British Army unit providing specialised services to United Kingdom Special Forces, including the SAS and SBS.

We will never know what demands global instability has placed on service personnel nor the significant pressure on their families, the Hoplite Fund steps in to provide immediate aid beyond conventional military support, including facilitating respite breaks, enabling counselling services and routinely endorsing one-off grants to meet immediate needs in times of personal crisis.
