Atticus’ Walking Challenge

Atticus and Delphi have decided that they are going to take on an epic 50 mile walking challenge to raise money to improve the school outdoors play area at Atticus’ school. Buxton is wet and windy most of the year so they are hoping to raise enough funds to build a sheltered area so the children can spend more time learning and playing outside. After the grim start to Atticus’ schooling in 2020, it would lovely for the children to have a beautiful, all-weather outdoor space to play when they all get back to school.

Atticus has committed to walking 50 miles over the next couple of weeks. He hopes to complete this before he returns to school on 8th March but if not, we’ll keep walking until we reach the target! Delphi is doing her best to keep up and walk as far as she can too - and I’ll be carrying her on my back when she gets too tired.

Everyone knows I can’t resist a good walking challenge but now it’s time to see if the kids have got what it takes! 😂
