My story
Hi, my name is Megan and I am 20 years old. I have a rare blood disorder called Diamond Blackfan Anaemia Syndrome (DBAS) which affects 5 to 7 people per million live births. Many people with this condition rely on blood transfusions, steroids, or a bonemarrow transplant. DBAS UK supports families with this condition and fund medical research.
