Band Aid Trust

Jennifer Danielle London is raising money for The Band Aid Charitable Trust

My story

The Band Aid Charitable Trust exists to raise money for the purpose of ending famine in Ethiopia and other parts of Africa, along with alleviating the suffering & disease associated with famine.

The Band Aid Charitable Trust was formed during the Christmas season of 1984 when Bob Geldof & Midge Ure wrote "Do They Know It's Christmas?" and the British Pop Royalty of the day came together very early on the morning of Sunday, 25th November, to lend their voices to what is now one of the most beloved songs in history. "Do They Know It's Christmas?" entered the UK charts at #1 in mid~December and stayed there for 5 weeks, filling hearts & the airwaves with one of the most powerful and moving songs ever to be written & performed.

Every cent of the proceeds that Christmas of 1984 went to the Band Aid Charitable Trust and continues to today. In addition to proceeds from the song itself going to the Trust, there exist other avenues in which you can help to raise funds to go to those in Africa who will benefit so greatly from your giving. You can visit the Live Aid You Tube channel (Live Aid being the worldwide concert that was put together by Bob Geldof and British concert promoter, Harvey Goldsmith, also to raise funds for the Band Aid Charitable Trust, which took place on 13th July, 1985) and for every official Live Aid video you watch, a small donation goes to the Band Aid Trust. (Everyone viewing these really does add up!) The same is true for all songs performed on that day that you listen to on the official Live Aid channel on streaming platforms such as Spotify and Pandora. And you can donate right here on my page I've created to raise as much money as possible for the Band Aid Charitable Trust, which has been extremely near & dear to my heart and one of the biggest motivating influences in my life ever since the chimes of "Do They Know It's Christmas?" first rang out that extraordinary late November of 1984. Please join me and, Together, let's Throw Our Arms Around The World this Christmastime and Always...FEED THE WORLD.

Love,

Jennifer Danielle London
