My story
Please sponsor Martin Charlesworth and James Beardall as they attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of a new building to house Barnabas Community Projects.
Barnabas Community Church has run community action programmes for many years, including a Foodbank, Money Advice Centre, Toddler Group, Addiction Support Group, Prison & Ex-Offenders work, Senior Citizen's Friendship Club, Kidz Klub, Cage Football and Youth Activities. We are looking to buy a new home to help expand the work of our social action: to provide space for current projects to grow and for new projects to launch. The total projected cost of a new site is in the region of £400,000.
Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa, standing at 19,340 feet, or 5895 metres (more than 5 times bigger than Snowdon)
The trip has been paid for in full by Martin & James, so any donations will go directly to the fund.
