Bath Spa Uni Boob Team 2021/22

Hello, nice to meet you! We are Bath Spa University's Uni Boob Team, a campaign society set out to raise awareness and funds for the incredible charity CoppaFeel!

Through our fundraising on campus and beyond, we are here to support CoppaFeel!'s mission in educating young people about Breast Cancer and its symptoms - eradicating the taboos that exist in conversations about cancer and encouraging self-awareness within our own bodies to know what to look out for.

Why do we do what we do? In the UK, 1 in 7 women experience Breast Cancer in their lifetimes, with 400 men being diagnosed every year. CoppaFeel! aim to encourage, educate, and empower every young person to check their chest regularly and seek advice when anything seems abnormal to them. Simply put, early detection saves lives.

Despite the serious message, we approach raising awareness in a enjoyable way, hosting events such as brunches, glitter parties, and collaborations with a range of societies at the university: bringing together a variety of people for a very important reason, but having fun whilst doing so!

All of your donations and support at our events helps CoppaFeel! to continue the amazing work they do, creating vital resources to share their charity's message and helping them grow. Anything you can do will help make a difference!
