Billy, Sam and Shuna's Great North Swim!

Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page.

We are Billy (age 9 nearly 10) and Sam (age 13) and our mum Shuna (age somewhere way back in the 1900s).

We are all swimming in the Great North Swim in Lake Windermere on the 9th June this year.
Shuna, Sam and Billy will be doing 250 metres (it will be the first time Billy's allowed to swim at this event, but Sam is a seasoned entrant already!) and Shuna will be doing the 2 mile swim as well (starting 2 hours beforehand. Let's hope she's done on time!).

We have chosen three charities each to raise funds for and would like to try and raise around £100 each for these worthy causes.

Billy has chosen Friends of Meersbrook Bank - the parent group that raises funds for his lovely little primary school, and specifically a new and much-improved playground.

Sam has chosen Football Unites, Racism Divides - a charity that brings people together from different backgrounds to play, watch and enjoy football, and to break down barriers created by ignorance or prejudice.

Shuna has chosen Sheffield Palestine Women's Scholarship Fund which provides university scholarships to Palestinian women studying in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
