Becki's Great North Swim For Pield Heath School

On Sunday 12th June 2016 I will be swimming 1 mile in the beautiful Lake Windermere. This will be my first open water event other than my1 day open water course and a few practice swims outdoors. I've never swum with this many people before, in these temperatures, average water temperatures for this time of year are 14-15 degrees c , or in a wetsuit so it will be pretty tough but I have an intention and a focus. I will be fundraising for Pield Heath School in the hope of raising money for the refurbishment of the school stage, new curtains, new sound and lighting system. For those who pay attention to my FB statuses will know how special the Carol Concert is to pupils, family, friends and staff so if I can raise money to make the stage all singing and dancing just like pupils will be A MAZE ING.....
