Becky's CARM run

I started volunteering for CARM ( Caring Altogether on Romney Marsh) in 2016 as a befriender. The volunteers and staff at the charity provide socially isolated people in the area with opportunities to talk to a friendly volunteer on a weekly basis, reminisce in the company of a welcoming group and meet others at drop in centres for a cuppa, a chat and to get sime advice if needed. I want to support CARM because I have seen first hand how local people can be supported in their community. It was vitally important during covid and continues to provide a life line for many. I love being a volunteer and would encourage anyone thinking of supporting CARM or a similar charity to get involved. If you are able to donate just a few pence to help this charity continue it's fantastic work that would be fantastic. I've never run 10km before and I am in training so hopefully by the end of September I'll be ready to give it a go. Thank you 😊
