Ben's running the Bungay Half Marathon

Hello people!

After months of procrastinating and thinking about it, and not much actual running, I've finally entered a half marathon, along with my awesome motivator housemates Pascale Robinson, Claire Lyons and Phoebe Eccles. It's taking place in Bungay, near the town of Diss, (yep, no idea, somewhere in Suffolk apparently) - on the 17th April 2016!

I am raising money for Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)t - an international humanitarian-aid non-governmental organization (NGO) and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, best known for its projects in war-torn regions and developing countries facing endemic diseases. Read more about them here - msf.org.uk/ - they are doing some really vital work, in over 60 of the most disaster hit regions of the world, and rely completely on donations to fund this work. Dig deep!

Any donation would be gratefully appreciated. I know that everyone and his dog is fundraising for something these days, so I'm going to attempt to sweeten the deal a little:

If you donate at least £12 I will personally write and record you your own unique one minute piece of piano music! Maybe I'll base it on your personality or a story related to you, or twist up something from your favourite tune, or perhaps it'll just be some inoffensive noodling or some abrasive noise...

Donate £20 or more and I'll bump it up to around two and a half minutes, and I could always record it as a video as well.

£30 or more and you can specify exactly what you want from me musically... please be reasonable in your requests though!

This may backfire or fail spectaularly, but it seemed like I should attempt something of vague value to thank you for your generosity as running in itself is QUITE BORING RIGHT?! If enough of you donate you can have a good laugh at how up to my neck in commissions I'll be and how much muzak I'll have to churn out with my achey little legs. I will also try to do some piano busking to help meet my target.

I hope you can help me to hit my target of £1000! No amount is too small.
