Karen Marshman is raising money for Friends Of Y Bwthyn
My story
Mam spent her last few weeks at Y Bwthyn before sadly passing on 22nd June 2022.
The care she received was exemplary and Mam developed a wonderful relationship with the amazing staff who cared for her when she most needed it. This care extended to us as a family too and we will be forever grateful for their compassion.
You always hear about the macmillan angels, but it is not until you need them personally, that you realise just how special they are. The whole staff at the hospice are true angels.
The Friends of Y Bwthyn is a charity raising funds to provide the ‘little extras’ for those using the centre. Mam received many of these. It was her final wish that any money received in lieu of memorial flowers, should be donated to Y Bwthyn.
