BICA 2026 MIZEN TO MALIN HEAD

🚴‍♂️🇮🇪 600 miles. 6 days.

This July Kevin, Tommy, Siobhan, Darragh, Sonnie, Tadhg and Danny are taking on the Birmingham Irish Cycle Appeal challenge — cycling 600 miles from Mizen Head to Malin Head along the Wild Atlantic Way.

We’ll be doing it alongside our dad and grandad, Con who takes on these challenges year after a year for over 25 years, the absolute OG alongside Joe and the BICA team. Three generations taking on the challenge together, which will be incredibly special but very very tough.

We’ll be joining around 60 amazing cyclists of all abilities supported by an incredible backup team, all self funded so 100% of the money raised goes direct to these charities.

Every single one of these causes is so important, but the Cystic Fibrosis Unit at Birmingham Children’s Hospital is especially close to our hearts as they look after Kevins son Christy, our nephew and cousin — our very own CF warrior. 💛

We see first-hand the amazing care and support Christy receives, so this one is very personal for all of us and will definitely give us a reason to keep pedalling when the legs and head are struggling!
