My story

In 2024, BICA celebrated its 25th anniversary and is gearing up for a new challenge in 2025. This year, the team will embark on a 600-mile cycling adventure along the east coast of Ireland, starting from the iconic Giant’s Causeway and ending at Ballynarry Castle. The route will take cyclists through beautiful landscapes, including a stop in Dublin, with all expenses covered so that 100% of the funds raised go directly to charity.

Myself and my 17 Year old son Eoin, have decided to take on the challenge in order to raise money for these Birmingham and Irish Charities.  This year we nominated the Heartlands Cystic Fibrosis Charity which has a local connection to us, Jane Bull.

Eoin has only started cycling 3 months ago.  I know how hard this will be after completing the 32 Counties last year.  There will be 6 days of 100 miles a day cycling, probably in rain!
