Birmingham Hospice Tabletop Sale

Birmingham Hospice is a leading charity providing compassionate palliative and end-of-life care for people across Birmingham and the surrounding areas. Formed in 2021 through the merger of Birmingham St Mary’s and John Taylor Hospices, it supports around 670 patients every day—both in its inpatient units and through community and “Hospice at Home” services. The hospice’s mission is to ensure that everyone with a life-limiting illness can live and die with dignity, comfort, and choice, regardless of background or circumstance. Alongside medical and nursing care, it offers emotional, spiritual, and practical support to patients and their families, as well as bereavement and wellbeing services. Much of its funding comes from donations and charity shops, and it currently faces financial pressures that have led to difficult service reductions. Despite these challenges, Birmingham Hospice continues to play a vital role in helping people spend their final days in peace and comfort, while easing pressure on local hospitals and ensuring that end-of-life care is accessible and compassionate for all.
