Dawn Crowther is raising money for Blind Life In Durham
My story
Hi everyone, I am doing the Llandudno running festival 10k on the 15th March and raising money for Blind Life / LEAPS in Durham who provide great sports opportunities for people with a disability.
I have chosen this small charity in honour of my cousin Gemma Marshall. Despite dealing with her own cerebral palsy, Gemma has been committed to charity work herself, even receiving a child of achievement award from Princess Diana as a lass for all her efforts! Gemma is a great inspiration to me and all my family, and I think it's safe to say everyone that knows her! She has really enjoyed being part of LEAPS/ Blind Life's fantastic kurling team and I would love to raise money for the team's equipment and competitions.
Any donations you can give will be greatly appreciated and used directly by the team. Myself and my friend Jonquil promise to get ourselves to the finish line!
