Chromosome 18 European Family Conference 2010

The conference will bring together families affected by Chromosome 18 abnormalities to learn about ongoing research, treatments and therapies. Our aim is to invite many healthcare professionals to join us: most have only ever seen one affected person, and have no idea how our children can develop into successful, contributing adults. Bringing a large group of families together like this gives hope to all who attend.
We are fundraising to make sure that as many families as possible can come to Scotland for the first conference, and to run conferences bi-annually to help them continue to build lasting friendships.
