Borras Construction Ltd Charity Trek

On Saturday September 18th a number of our colleagues are packing their cases, donning their walking boots and heading to the Isle of Wight in order to trek 60km in order to raise money for 2 very worthy causes.
Youth Talk
FACT: One in eight children are diagnosed with a mental health disorder – that’s roughly one in three children per classroom.
Youth Talk, a local charity providing free, confidential counselling to 13-25 year old's in St Albans and surrounding areas.
Just;
• £10 could provide a friendly ear at the end of a phone for someone brave enough to take that first step towards getting help.
• £100 could help provide two 121 counselling sessions to a local young person
• £600 can help provide a young person with 12 essential counselling sessions.

Many people suffer personal loss or uncertainty. The Counselling Foundation offer counselling support within a safe and confidential space enabling people to talk to a trained counsellor regarding personal difficulties and concerns, the aim; to inspire a different perspective on relationships and life.
Both of these charities have been personally accessed by our colleagues who feel that they would like to give something back in order to help others.
