Breathing Space Yoga 2015 Fundraising

Event dates: 22nd June 2015 – 16th January 2016

Sarah Clover is raising money for Cheshire Search & Rescue

My story

This year, Breathing Space yoga is fundraising for Cheshire Search and Rescue.

Cheshire Search And Rescue (CSAR) are a team of volunteers who are on call 24 hours per day, 365 days per year and are ready to deploy in any weather.

They are mainly called out to assist in the search for missing or vulnerable people across the county's 904 square miles (2.34 billion square metres) in the varied terrain of Cheshire. The team is extremely well trained and equipped and assists Cheshire police and other statutory emergency services.

Cheshire SAR are proud members of the Association of Lowland Search and Rescue and train and work with local Mountain Rescue teams.

They receive no government funding and rely entirely upon donations and fundraising.

You can find out more about Cheshire Search and Rescue and their amazing work by visiting cheshire-sarteam.org

My reason for choosing Cheshire Search and Rescue is personal. My husband Johnathan has been volunteering with the organisation for a year. I have been hugely impressed by the nature of their searches, which are essential to the lives of Cheshire people (and visitors to Cheshire) who require the service when they are difficulty. It is an invaluable service for those they search for and their families, and the volunteers dedication is amazing.

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Cheshire Search & Rescue.
