Our story
2021 has brought a new lockdown and with it, new pressures for parents, teachers and children. As we all adjust, the team at Brunel Field is working hard to ensure all pupils can access quality learning both in school and at home.
Some children learning at home are struggling to fully engage with online learning due to a lack of access to computers, having to share devices with siblings and parents or only able to get online using phones. In school, existing laptops are becoming old and out-of-date and there are not enough for all classes. We are launching this fundraising appeal to help ensure that no Brunel Field school pupil is denied access to online learning.
School needs to purchase 30 new laptops and a secure storage trolley to help replace those that have been given on loan to children for home learning and to provide quality whole-class ICT learning in school after lockdown as schools reopen to all and school life starts to return to normality.
The PSA has already committed more than £5,000 from funds generously donated by families last year including from the Virtual Winter Fair – thank you. We now need to raise an additional £5,000 towards the cost of these important resources.
Please give what you can today. Thank you.
