Our story

This is the fifth Big Football Festival being held on Saturday 19th July 2025 at Bishops Cleeve FC, Kayte Lane, Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham KO: 9am to 12:30ish. Do donate, and come and support us, drinks and food are available to buy during the event. There will be 16 football teams competing in the 6-aside tournament, looking to win either the Europa League Jane Hambling Cup or Champions League Marj Daldy Cup.
Over the last few years we have raised over £15,000, through playing football and long distance walking, to fundraise for three important charities that include: The Dignity and Freedom Network (DFN) who support the poor, the marginalised and the outcastes in South Asia. The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) who promote research that leads to new understandings and treatments, whilst also looking at finding a cure for MND. The UK Sepsis Trust who are working towards preventing deaths from Sepsis and improving the outcomes for survivors. These charities are close to the Daldry and Hambling families hearts.
