My story
We have been support volunteers for Headway Cardiff since November 2018. Volunteering for Headway has become something we look forward to each week and has proven to be a really eye-opening experience. In our short time volunteering so far, we have met few of many incredible survivors of acquired brain injury and have seen the positive impact the service has on its users. We are therefore very passionate about the work Headway Cardiff do and feel inspired to contribute towards sustaining the service.
Our way of saying 'thank you' to Headway is to humiliate ourselves by attempting to run the Cardiff half marathon!
