Castledon Greyhound Rescue 52-mile Sponsored Walk

Event date:

Kelly Perryman is raising money for Castledon Greyhound Rescue

My story

Over the weekend of 30th - 31st July 2011, I will be walking a total distance of 83.5km (52 miles) to raise money for Castledon Greyhound Rescue.
The walk will start at 8am on Saturday 30th July, with the route beginning at the River Chelmer in Chelmsford near the Essex Records Office. I will walk the entire length of the River Chelmer from here to it's conclusion in Heybridge near The Old Ship pub and then return along the same route to the start line to complete the first 41.5km (25.8 miles). On Sunday 31st July, I will start at 8am again but this time from next to the Church on Galleywood Common. The route will take me through Broomfield, Great Waltham, Howe Street, Littley Green, Barnston, Little Dunmow and Rayne before reaching it's conclusion at Great Notely Park in Braintree covering the final 42km (26.2miles).
