Kirsty and Helen and a wonderful group of friends ❤️ are raising money for Myeloma UK and Race Against Dementia
Welcome to the fundraising page for the 2024 Cateran DRAM.
Our poster boys are Andrew Millington and Roy Mitchell.
Andrew was diagnosed with Myeloma in 2020 and Roy was diagnosed with young onset dementia in November 2022.
These are 2 guys who don’t take this type of thing lying down - and both have spent the time since diagnosis’s living life - raising awareness and generally making the people around themselves lives better.
The first Cateran walk was in its training infancy when Roy was diagnosed - and he and Kirsty found the walks - the friendship and the camaraderie of the group very helpful in those early days of diagnosis.
It was apparent right from the start that there was an appetite to do it again.
And so here it is - the Cateran DRAM. A group of lovely people coming together to walk, laugh, spend time in nature, challenge themselves to complete all or some of the Cateran Trail.
Any donation is appreciated large or small.
All will be spilt 50/50 between Myeloma UK and RACE AGAINST DEMENTIA.
Thank you for checking out our page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Myeloma UK and Race Against Dementia.
Your donations will help the great work Myeloma UK and Race Against Dementia do.
