Catherine's fundraiser for Beacon Counselling

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Give as you Live fundraising page.
So, after a really enjoyable Manchester Marathon last year, I thought Id do another one this year and venture slightly further afield. I thought Id also take the opportunity to try and raise some money for Beacon Counselling: a mental health charity based in Stockport dedicated to improving the mental health and wellbeing of the local community.
Founded in 1984 to ensure everyone in the local community had somewhere to turn in times of trouble, regardless of their financial circumstances, the charity supports over 3,000 adults, young people and children each year to improve their mental health and wellbeing. They do this through the delivery of a range of therapy, wellbeing services, group support and targeted projects that empower people with the tools and skills they need to recover and thrive now and in the future.

Beacon is a leading provider of psychological therapies in Greater Manchester and beyond. The extensive range of skills and experience offered by their pool of qualified paid and volunteer counsellors means they can help people address a broad spectrum of behaviours and underlying mental or emotional health challenges.
