My story
We're rallying behind Simon Tysoe as he embarks on an epic adventure around the world, and we're not missing the opportunity to raise money towards charities that hold special meaning to us!
The founder of S. Tysoe Installations, Simon Tysoe, is retiring after an incredible 42 years in business, including the last three years of success as part of The P&M Group. To mark this exciting milestone, Simon is setting off on an 18-month sailing adventure around the world as part of the ARC+ Rally, starting from Gran Canaria in November 2024 and then the ARC World Rally starting from St Lucia in January 2025. After sailing some 26,000 nm Simon and his crew will complete the voyage in spring 2026.
As part of a wider corporate fundraising initiative, we’re raising funds for a range of important charities. Among these, ocean conservation efforts through Project Seagrass and MARECO hold particular significance, given the nature of Simon’s sailing adventure across vast open waters. Along his journey, Simon will also gather valuable data through citizen science to support these organisations’ missions to protect marine ecosystems, adding even greater purpose to this remarkable voyage.
We wish Simon and his crew the best of luck and look forward to hearing many stories from his journey!
