Cheltenham3Peaks Challenge in memory of Jane & Marj

Teams of walkers are planning to complete the Cheltenham3Peaks, 16 mile trek up Crickley Hill, Leckhampton Hill and Cleeve Hill between July - October 2023. If you’d like to enter a team please email Davy; davidhambling@yahoo.com for details.

Since 2019 a huge group of players and people have raised nearly £14,000, through playing football (and during lockdown, distance walking) to fundraise for 2 charities important to the Daldry and Hambling family. The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) promotes research that leads to new understandings and treatments, whilst also looking for a cure for MND. The Dignity and Freedom Network (DFN) supporting the poor, the marginalised and the outcastes in South Asia. This year Jane Hambling (Davy’s mum) who was a huge supporter of our events died of Sepsis at just 65. This year we are walking in Jane’s & Marj’s memory, including fundraising for The UK Sepsis Trust who are working towards preventing deaths from Sepsis and improving the outcomes for survivors.
