Chop it off (for charity)!

For those of you who know me, I've had this long hair for a really long time. It's long, dark, wavy, and shiny, all the way down towards my waist. (I'm on the left in the picture and it's longer than that now!)

Many hours and dollars have been spent on this mane that is a borderline trademark of mine..

But, there are more important matters in the world than hair, yo!

The country I grew up in recently got destroyed by an earthquake, and I spent 6 hours of that awful day fearing I had lost everyone I had ever loved in my life. I've never felt anything like it.

The truth is, there are so many people around the world who feel that horrid, indescribable feeling everyday.

SEEDS OF PEACE is an organisation that literally plants the hope of peace in conflict areas of the Middle East, by bringing together the leaders of tomorrow from both sides of the conflict to get them to engage with each other.

All proceeds will go to SoP to fund programmes that help these kids shape a more peaceful future in their part of the world.

And even if you don't know me.. It's for a good cause and I'm chopping it all off! How short, you ask? Oh, it'll be short, alright!
