Christians in Football France Tour 2010

Hi all

In a few weeks i will be heading to France on a missions trip with Christians in Football (GB).

We're heading to Angers (Loire Valley) and St Gaudens (near the Pyrenees) to support, encourage and work with local french churches, specifically: by prayer/prayer walks in the areas that we visit; outreach events on the back of football matches; and coaching clinics for local children/young people; we will also be discipling each other in daily team meetings.

Our tour letter explains that the french evangelical churches often feel slightly 'separated and dispersed', with each church having a sense of being out on its own and trying to survive a little - so we specifically go to encourage them and to help them to have more of an impact in their area.

Prayer Support: We are having Wednesday 4th August as a day of prayer and fasting for the trip so if you'd like to join us in some way on that day that would be great. We will then be away from 14th-26th August, so prayer during this time would be (?) even better!

Financial Support: The trip costs £600 for transport, kit and accommodation. Finances have been a struggle recently as i am in the middle of quite a time of transition without a stable income. If you were able to give any financial support towards the tour that would be massively appreciated. I have set up an online giving page, which goes straight through to the CiF account - incase you were wandering that is Christians in Football, and not the multi national corporation that produces kitchen cleaning products; well i hope so anyway!
