The Lord’s Taverners supports children who through poverty and disability are denied opportunities to participate in sports which can adversely impact both their physical and mental wellbeing.
All children deserve a chance to be their best and to be proud of themselves; sport plays an important part in building their self-esteem.
For years, The Lord’s Taverners have been supporting children who lack the advantages most of us take for granted, helping them overcome the challenges of inequality, poverty and disability.
I’m running to support The Lord’s Taverners because I believe every child deserves a chance to overcome adversity, to be proud and to believe in themselves.
