Claire & Rich’s Leeds Marathon

After training and running the Ponte 10k last year, her first ever running event, Claire was debating signing up for a half marathon, so Rich turned round and said ‘why not just do a marathon instead? I’ll do it with you!’

A couple of weeks later Rob sadly lost his battle with MND so we both signed up to run the Leeds Marathon in respect of Rob. Claire has been busily training for weeks now, whilst Rich is trying his best to manage his dodgy ankles!!

People keep telling us to do a fundraising page so we have decided to fundraise for Love Me, Love My Face Foundation (the Charity Rich is Chairman of) with the hope of raising money to support their Annual Retreat in October. 

For every £500 we can raise it will pay for a TCS family to attend the Retreat, offering them the opportunity to create life long bonds and friendships, create memories with family and, just as importantly, ask questions and share their experience and advice to others navigating their way through TCS life.
