Reading Half Marathon for Girlguiding Royal Berks International Trip

My story
As many of you know, I am involved with Girlguiding UK. I normally run a Brownie pack, but have also been selected as one of the 5 adult leaders on our forthcoming county international trip to Iceland for the our Senior Section girls (aged 14 - 17). The 23 girls and 5 leaders going have been busily fundraising to cover the trip costs and now it's my turn!
Having taken up running in August in an effort not to be left gasping for breath at the foot of a glacier, I then decided in a moment of madness that I would attempt to run the Reading Half Marathon. The effort may kill me... but I'm told it'll be worth it!
