Clare's 30km London Walk

On Sunday 6 September, I will be joining colleagues from Berkeley Foundation and Berkeley Group for the final leg of the Big Berkeley Biathlon, walking a distance of 30km from The Green Quarter in Southall to New Horizon Youth Centre in Camden - all in support of young people experiencing homelessness. 

Youth homelessness is rising and last year, over 120,000 young people faced homelessness. Through this challenge, I'm raising money for two brilliant organisations that are supporting young people to access essential services, develop life skills and build brighter, more secure futures:
 
St Basils is a charity and a housing association with a track record of over 50 years of providing a holistic range of accommodation and support services to young people aged 16 - 25 who are homeless, vulnerable or at risk in the West Midlands.
 
New Horizon Youth Centre provides a day centre, outreach and remote services support for young people aged 16-24 in London to overcome barriers and solve homelessness for good by offering expert help in health, safety, youth work and, access to housing.
