Climbing Mount Snowdon

Climbing Snowdon is something I personally want to achieve however due to Covid many charities have suffered, therefore I thought it would be a nice idea to climb Snowdon for a charity, a charity which is quite close to me and hopefully provide some additional funding to enable them to continue with their fantastic work.

The charity I will be raising money for is: Headway North Staffordshire. This charity is a non-profit organisation which provides vital support to people with head injuries and their families.

Headway has been there for many people, they have helped to improve self-esteem, provided support to help people learn/relearn/adapt skills to enable them to achieve things independently or with some assistance so they can transfer them skills to their everyday life and feel confident in doing so. They also provide members with a safe environment to do suitable exercises, when normally they’d be unable to achieve such things at home but most importantly I have found the staff always look out for the members and their families, going above and beyond to ensure they are okay and provide a friendly face to speak to, offering support and guidance if needed.
