Good luck Colin with your training, fundraising & event. I recently saw a beautiful little girl on TV called Isla with Graham Souness & her daily suffering is heartbreaking & I'd not heard about this cruel disease until your post. Xxx

Colin Warrington is raising money for DEBRA
Dear Friend
I'm running 50km (31 miles) of the Thames Path Challenge in aid of the charity DEBRA.
I'm taking on this Ultramarathon on Saturday 14th September, along the towpath from Putney to Runnymede.
DEBRA supports people living with the rare, extremely painful, genetic skin blistering condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). This condition is also known as 'Butterfly Skin'. EB has been described as the 'cruellest condition'.
EB causes the skin to become very fragile and tear or blister at the slightest touch.
Imagine not even being able to hug your child because it is simply too painful for them.
DEBRA works to support sufferers of EB and their families. It also works with researchers to accelerate the pace at which we are going, towards reaching a cure for this terrible condition.
To find more out about #TeamDEBRA and EB please visit their website debra.org.uk/
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto DEBRA.

Graeme Souness, Vice President of DEBRA, on BBC Breakfast with Isla Grist, who suffers from EB yet remains strong in the face of incredible difficulties.
Even a tough Scotsman is emotional when talking about EB

Thank you so much for your support so far.
Nearly 18 miles covered today. It's not fast, but it felt good.
