Community support for the Belsize Village Fund

On Friday 9 October, the girls will attend a whole-school assembly on the theme of Community, led by the School Council. Together, we will reflect on what community means, explore the different communities we belong to, and consider the importance of belonging, kindness and supporting those in need. We will also think about how we can make a positive contribution to our school and local communities, as well as how we can be responsible citizens of the wider world.

On this day, the girls are invited to wear a love heart to school, perhaps in the form of a homemade badge, a logo on a T-shirt, or another creative design, to remind us that kindness is at the heart of every thriving community. We will also be raising money for the Belsize Village Community Fund.

The website for the association is run by David Percy, who is also a long long time local and in fact an ex pupil at St Christophers after the war. David is a film maker and Historian and a writer and has produced several films and books about Belsize.

Your kind donations will help fund the seasonal hanging baskets located on our local roads, including Belsize Lane, and the winter lights in the village square.
