Running the London 2025 marathon!
Never give up on your Dreams!
I have wanted to run the London Marathon since I started running several years ago, but having Epilepsy and cerebral palsy I thought it would only be a dream. But here I am , asking for your donation.
I am running for The Lords Taverners as they have supported me and my love of Cricket for the past five years. Their Super 1s programme was the start of the most amazing journey for me. They have hubs all around the country that give free inclusive cricket sessions to anyone with a disability. I had never picked up a cricket bat before I went to my local session, but within a couple of months I was hooked. My coaches Damian , Amber , Sean and Somerset Foundations Steve Gass have been the most amazing, supportive and helpful people and with their encouragement I started my own journey into coaching . I passed my foundation training and training for Allstars and Dynamo’s and I am now working towards my level 2 core coaching. I coach at Yeovil Allstars and dynamo’s and Over 50s, Ilton under 12s and ladies. I have also been selected to play for Somerset Disabled County Cricket. I play in the S9 team but have helped out with the Dragons and D40 teams . In 2023 I was selected by the Lord’s Taverners to receive their Inspire award and received my award at the Oval from Chris Woakes ( it was a complete surprise that my mum and Steve had hidden from me, but that’s another story).
Earlier this year I traveled to London with my mum and Emily from Somerset Cricket Foundation to be presented with another award for “Sport Gives Back” on behalf of the Lords Taverners . We met lots of celebrities including Chris (again), Frank Lampard and my running hero Sir Mo Farah. We were even on Tv!
I can’t thank the Lord Taveners enough for the opportunity’s, support and encouragement from everyone. It has truly changed my life, I have made hundreds of friends, developed new skills and my confidence has improved dramatically.
Running the London marathon has always been my dream, but with your support and donations it could also start a new dream for someone else.

You can see me at the Yeovil Half Marathon!!
Thanks everyone, I’ve updated the goal to £4000. Every pound helps the Lords Taveners help disabled/disadvantaged people access cricket. It really does change lives.
Thanks to everyone who came to our 80s party/fundraiser. A great night. I really appreciate your support. £385 to add to the total!!
Hi everyone, I am so thrilled to have raised £2000. With 4 months and 2 events still to come, I have decided to change my goal to £3000 , Thank you for your contribution and hope to see you all soon at one of our upcoming events.
