Craig Thompson Great North Run for The Eagles community Foundation & Tiny Lives

So it’s my yearly trek around the great north run course – year number 18 in a row.

All things being well I will be running as Swoop the Newcastle Eagles mascot again in the Mascot Dash on Saturday 6th September on the Quayside before the Junior Great North Run, and a slower pace for the main event on Sunday 7th September.

As usual I will be doing this for two charities that are close to me and the company that I work for

The Charites I will be raising funds for are:

The Eagles Community Foundation. The main aim of the foundation is to grow levels of sustainable basketball participation in Tyneside, Wearside and South East Northumberland and also to get as many children as possible playing basketball across the North East to stay healthy, keep active, have fun, make friends and develop as young people.

Tiny Lives Foundation – The charity of the year for myself and colleagues at iamproperty, tiny lives are a charity that work closely with the NHS
They support and champion premature and sick newborn babies and their families, at the Newcastle Neonatal Service and across the North East and North Cumbria.
