Craig's Marathon Run

Craig Savage is raising money for Prostate Cancer UK and Steps

My story

Hi All,

For a while now I've been talking about doing a Marathon. My first ever event was the Bromley mile 10K run with my Dad/ Best Friend, who we sadly lost to prostate cancer last year. So, this year I have decided to put on my dads "bravo one" cap and do a marathon together!

I am also supporting the Steps charity who are amazing. When my son Mason was born, he was diagnosed with fixed talipes, we have been supported from day one and continue to be supported to this day. Thanks to the techniques and treatments available today, my son gets to experience life to the full for which I am eternally grateful.

So when the runs get tough, I think to myself did my dad give up..........No!
Did Mason give up when he spent the first 6 months of his life in casts and then have and operation where his Achilles tendon was cut..........No!
So how can I moan about a few hours of discomfort.....

"Go as far as you can, then take one more step"

I will be running the Brighton Marathon on the 2nd April, any donations you can spare for the charities that are close to me and my family would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Prostate Cancer UK and Steps.
