Wow! We are so grateful to everyone who has supported us and we're still really excited about our time volunteering. We can't believe how much we've raised and donations are still coming in! Thank you so, so much, everyone. Fiona & Geoff

We’ve just completed our third and final shift. We’ll miss the guests who have brought us tears and laughter - they were all great. Each with their own stories and problems but generally with a sense of humour and fortitude. THANK YOU to everyone who’s supported us. We are bowled over by your generosity. Fiona & Geoff

The buzzing in our heads finally stopped during the night. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we’ve booked to volunteer for an extra shift! THANK YOU for all the donations so far. We are really touched by your generosity.

10.27pm - we have just returned from our first shift, which flew by. We are on a high having had a great time. Geoff is over excited by spending an hour doing a jigsaw with a guest. Fiona had to dance a slow dance to a Christmas carol which is a first for her. We also registered guests, supervised table tennis, though most of the balls got stuck in the light fittings. We patrolled outside space (a tale in itself) and Fiona was able to don her all powerful high-viz jacket and help with transport. THANK YOU so much for your generosity. Your donations are certainly being used wisely.

We are really grateful to those who have helped us reach a great total far. We've now tried on the bobble hats in readiness for Monday. Thanks F&Gx
