Good luck Mum - we’ll be cheering you on!

Crossing the Moray Firth!!!

Event date: 25th June 2022

Jeanette McBoyle is raising money for Àban

My story

I am swimming from South to North Kessock and back - the route the ferry used to take (if you are as old as me!). The money raised will subsidise outdoor experiences for families that may not otherwise enjoy them, and the local nature reserve. Will be in my swimsuit, fingers crossed for a fine day 🤞.

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Àban.

Choppy swim at Collieston tonight - good practice for Saturday maybe? 😳 Please take a minute to add to my sponsor total - the money will be split between Merkinch Nature Reserve and Aban Outdoor for families. It is very much appreciated, however small.

Thank you so much to those who have sponsored me so far! Weather looks ok for Saturday so far, been back in the pool and doing a Solstice swim at Collieston tonight. Fingers crossed for calm waters on Saturday 🤞

Only a week to go till I attempt this swim. 1200 metres across from Inverness to North Kessock and back. The water is expected to be 11 degrees (warmer than the Lido) and I’ll be in my swimsuit! Sponsorship raised will be split between Merkinch Nature Reserve and helping families to finance outdoor adventures. Any donation, however small, would be greatly appreciated. Fingers crossed for a flat calm, sunny day!
