My story
I recently spent 4 weeks volunteering in Rwanda and Uganda with a fantastic charity called Cricket Without Boundaries who introduce children to cricket whilst delivering important health and social issues messaging.
This is where you come in - Cricket Without Boundaries needs your help!
I spent time with the Ugandan Women's Team and they're desperate for good quality cricket equipment. They just won the Women's Day Cup competing against Nepal, Namibia and Hong Kong, China. This is despite playing with old, repaired and falling apart kit. Some of the players don't even own a pair of spikes and getting equipment is very difficult as it is often too expensive and takes months to arrive from abroad.
If you are unable to donate money, or want to contribute in another way to this cause then I am collecting donations of used kit in good condition which will be taken to one of CWB's locations: Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Nepal.
I am also collecting full sets of coloured playing kit (minimum 11 shirts) and tennis balls (there are never enough!)
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Cricket Without Boundaries.
My updates
1 month to go until our inaugural ECB Umpires and Match Referees' Charity Golf Day for CWB!
Donations have still bee rolling in which is fantastic and will make a huge difference to those involved in cricket across the world

Thanks to some generosity from HECC Sport, we’ve acquired over 30 cricket bats, 20 umpire counters and 4 boxes of cricket ball.
Plus, we’ve been stickering up some donated bats (pictured) ready to be regripped and sent out
These will make a huge difference to grassroots teams and schools in Rwanda and Uganda.
This is all thanks to your donations, so thank you for contributing to cricket in Africa!

Fantastic news as we pass the £300 mark! Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far, it will make a huge difference to players and officials across Africa.
Congratulations also to Tanzania who just won the Kwibuka T20 Tournament hosted by Rwanda.
Ever fancied volunteering abroad and combining it with your love for cricket? Sign up for a trip with Cricket Without Boundaries!

We have sent 5 sets of kit out to Sierra Leone Women's National Team who recently won a tournament despite sharing 2-3 bats, helmets and sets of pads between them. Hopefully this kit will make a difference to their upcoming ICC World Cup Africa Qualifiers. They are currently competing in Rwanda in the Kwibuka Women's T20 Cup.

A huge thank you to AJ Sports and TCC for their donations to the equipment fund with some great quality kit.
Please do spread the word and get in touch if you, your club or your business can help!
