Cricket Without Boundaries is a UK-based charity using cricket to change lives around the world. This will be my 6th CWB trip and in November 2026 I will be returning to Nepal to support the year-round programme with coaching, coach development, and competitions for teenaged boys and girls in Koshi and Madhesh Provinces.
The Cricket 4 Equality project uses cricket to promote gender equality by:

1. Building the life skills, confidence and competence of boys and girls with high quality coaching in schools and the community
2. Using specially designed cricket activities to start conversations about harmful gender norms, how they restrict girls' opportunities in cricket and in life, and how all members of the cricket community - boys, girls, teachers, coaches and parents - can take action to change these harmful norms
3. Organising more games of cricket, particularly for girls, to make girls' cricket more visible and challenges ideas of what girls are capable of

All of this work has been shaped by the amazing youth leaders, the Cricket Changemakers. They have conducted research with their classmates, planned activities, and now support the implementation of the project to help make a real impact. You can read more about them here: The Cricket Changemakers
