Cycle for refugees

Last year I cycled across the Andes to raise funds for our Ukrainian Refugee Sports Camps. Over the last 12 months, we have held 29 camps for children aged 5 to 15, initially on the Ukraine/Poland border and more recently in East Sussex, with around 50 families who have found a home in the county. This work continues and at Christmas will involve residential camps for the first time for the mums and children.

With the success of our Ukrainian programme, we are hoping to expand our refugee work to help many more families and young people being displaced due to conflict around the world, for example in the Middle East, using sport and play to give some respite to the children and their families.

For a week in November I will be cycling the Nile from Luxor to Cairo to raise funds for all The Change Foundation’s work with refugees both overseas and in the UK and although it was only a year ago that I asked everyone to support us, I would be really grateful if you could support my fundraising efforts again, so we can provide a safe sporting space for children who have faced such terrible trauma.
