UPDATED 04/03/18: Due to cancellation of the Bath Half Marathon, I have set myself a new challenge. I'll be running two half marathons in two weeks in September: the Bristol Half Marathon on the 23rd and the Forest of Dean Half Marathon on the 30th. They are quite different courses. Bristol is all flat and is run along roads, and Forest of Dean is all off-road and is nice and hilly. I'm thinking that I have lots more training time now so come the time I'll be ready...

I am raising funds for Plan International UK, which is a charity striving to advance children's rights and quality of life, and equality for girls all over the world, including the UK.

Plan International UK recognise the power and potential of every single child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it is girls who are most affected.

Plan UK are working hard to challenge gender inequality through investment in education, healthcare and sanitation, and campaigning against harmful practices like child marriage and FGM.
