Enabling Dignity & Education for Girls

Days for Girls Peebles in collaboration with the Thondwe Partnership (ITW Thondwe Community Forum) have pledged to give every girl at St Anthony's School, Thondwe, Malawi, a solution to the challenges surrounding Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM). In addition to this, the Thondwe Craft Enterprise in Malawi are being supported to provide the Thondwe primary school girls (who can be up to age 14) with a similar solution. Each of the girls will be provided with washable sanitary products and the relevant women's health education to enable her to attend every day of her schooling with dignity.

With your help we can keep girls at school, increase their confidence, dignity and self esteem, raise awareness and help break the cycle of poverty. As little as £10 will sponsor a supreme DfG kit which lasts 2-3 years or £25 would sponsor the menstrual hygiene needs of a girl throughout her entire secondary schooling.

This initiative is part of the Innerleithen Traquair Walkerburn Church of Scotland's wider links with Thondwe Community however, all funds raised through this Everyclick link will go directly to the Thondwe Girls Project.
