Dewsbury & Proud - Charity Dragon Boat Race 2024 - HMS Full Ballast

On Sunday 19th May 2024 Dewsbury & Proud will be competing in the annual Dragon Boat Race hosted by Wolverhampton Rotary Club, at Himley Hall and Park, Dudley DY3 4DF

The day will see multiple individuals, charities and companies raising money for lots of worthy causes.

The monies Dewsbury & Proud raise will be split between our chosen charity The Good Shepherd Wolverhampton and the Rotary's Charitable Trust so please help us reach our £1,000 target!

The Good Shepherd has a long history of supporting the most disadvantaged people in Wolverhampton and Christmas Eve 2022 marked the 50th anniversary of the Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd opening a night shelter in the city.
Their mission is to end homelessness, support recovery, and create pathways out of poverty. They achieve this by providing crisis support including food, practical support, and interventions to relieve homelessness, support to prevent people from becoming homeless and interventions and activities that support recovery from homelessness, mental health, and addiction. 
They deliver services in a way that makes people feel valued and always try to hear their voice.
