Giants Head Marathon - 24 June 2017

Dily Ruffer is raising money for Chichester Cathedral Choristers Association Scholarship Trust
My story
I vowed in 2010 when I ran the London Marathon (also in aid of CCCA) that I would not run another but the Giants Head was voted as the best Marathon in UK in 2014 and being local to me in Dorset that it would be my 2017 challenge and again I am running to raise funds for the CCCA Scholarship Trust Fund (STF).
This is a trail race starting and finishing in the beautiful village of Sydling St.Nicholas and it is advertised as "a very, very challenging hilly but beautiful course running through the Sydling and Cerne valleys running around and under the famous Cerne Giant", how could I resist?!
I am not asking you to run along side me so please dig deep into your pockets to convince me that this is a good way to spend 6-months training and taking part in this race.
Please note, I will not be running this in a set time but to finish and receive my medal to prove it!
